CoinMarketCap, a renowned cryptocurrency data tracking platform, has announced its partnership with Web3 entertainment company HELLO Labs and AltCoinDaily to create “Killer Whales,” a Web3-based reality TV show. Inspired by the popular series “Shark Tank,” the show aims to entertain and educate a global audience about the ever-evolving world of Web3 technology.

The Show’s Concept

“Killer Whales” will feature contestants pitching their crypto and NFT projects to a panel of industry expert judges, known as “Whales.” These contestants will compete for “Swim” votes (green) and try to avoid “Sink” votes (red) from the judges in order to top the series leaderboard and emerge as the series winner.

Applications and Selection Process

Applications for the show opened on May 2nd, with projects from all over the world invited to apply at www.hello.one. A professional representation of experienced Web3 experts, including show partners, security experts, and representatives from HELLO Labs, will review submitted projects. Selected projects will then be invited to participate in the show, which will be filmed in Los Angeles.

Engaging the Web3 Community

To involve the entire Web3 community, “Killer Whales” has introduced a voting system that allows communities to vote for their favourite projects and NFTs. Once a project has applied, they can encourage their communities to upvote their project page for a chance to win the public-voted “Wildcard” slot on each episode. Users can connect their Web3 wallets at www.hello.one to claim their daily vote and either upvote or downvote their preferred project.

Super Voting for $HELLO Token Holders

Users holding a minimum of 1,000 $HELLO Tokens within their wallets will be eligible for a daily Super Vote, with each Super Vote counting as ten regular votes. This gives their favourite projects a better chance of being noticed and potentially winning the coveted “Wildcard.”

Show Filming and Release

“Killer Whales” is scheduled to begin filming in June and will provide contestants with a platform to bring their vision to life, potentially making a significant impact in the world of cryptocurrency. More information about the show and its developments will be available through social media updates.
